Maybe a generic weapons list to choose from, guns, bows, swords, axes, etc, then once one is selected it can be applied to the character and animations?.1 isn't possible, anyway to add extra animations: attack, block, duck, roll, possibly others I cannot think of right now. Ability to add custom animations maybe they can pull from a folder with a generic animations and they're applied to all the characters once added to the folder.Id also be willing to donate more and I'm sure future users wouldn't mind paying a bit more if some of the below features were added :) I know they might be a lot of extra work, but they could vastly increase purchases of the app and its usability :) Great tool for quickly getting pixel art going! Lots of variations for colors. for example each character will be saved in one file alongside it's layers and materials which can be shared later with other users and will allow me to share new characters publicly as files that reads only inside the app.
PYXEL EDIT EXPORT BLANK UPDATE
Most programs will have a few different select tools, and Aseprite is no exception.Yes you can edit or create new images inside the app, there will be different pixel editors, one for characters and it's animations, another for tilesets and their animations, another one for UI elements and one to create bitmap fonts and each one will focus on it's own job like aseprite and pyxel edit, for the first release i will focus on the character creator and the pixel art editor because they need lot's of work specially on how it should work to create new characters with bigger size like 32x32 and create it's hair and other extras with materials that can be changed for the whole character like the first version , it's a hard job and i don't want to make spaghetti code to be able to update it or fix bugs easily and also a standard extension for saved files that can be shared or moved across the next versions. So if you had a bunch of red pixels, and you clicked on one red pixel with green, then all pixels on the canvas that are red will turn green. Untick that Contiguous box, and the paint bucket will instead replace all pixels on the canvas that are the color you clicked on with the color you have selected. Aseprite gives you the option to turn off that "contiguous" fill. Typically, that area is defined by closed shapes. The paint bucket fills an empty area with one solid color. Related: Apps to Find the Best Color Schemes, Matches, and Palettes Paint Bucket (G) This is especially useful if your sprite needs to keep to a certain color palette. With the eyedropper tool, you can click anywhere on the canvas to copy that pixel's color for you to reuse it. Like Aseprite's pencil, the eraser can be scaled up to 64px, circular or square. Clicking the right mouse button will instead replace the foreground color on your canvas with the background color you have selected. That is, if you click the left mouse button. The eraser does exactly as you'd expect it to: erases pixels you've already placed. For pixel art, you should always use a pencil. Brushes, meanwhile, may fade in/out at the beginning and end of a stroke. The pencil does not have anti-aliasing, so it always produces a hard edge. Typically, the difference between the pencil tool and the brush tool in art programs is anti-aliasing. You can also select whether you'd like to use a circular pencil or a square one. In Aseprite, you can scale the pencil's size up to 64px.

This is your main drawing tool, which by default, places one pixel.
